by car:
From the north
- Take the A81 from Heilbronn/Ludwigsburg and exit at Stuttart-Zuffenhausen.
- Form there, take the B10 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum" until you reach the B27.
- Turn right into the B27 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum".
- The B27 mergers into Heilbronner Strasse and then Friederichstrasse.
- When you reach Stuttgart Main Station (on your left), continue over the crossroads at Arnulf-Klett-Platz.
- After the junction with Schlosstrasse (on the right), stay in the left-hand lane and do a U-turn at the next available oppertunity.
- After turning round, stay in the right-hand lane and when you reach Bolzstrasse, drive into the Königsbau Passagen underground car park.
From the south
- Take the A81 from Tübingen/Reutlingen until you reach the Stuttgart motorway interchange.
- Continue on the A831 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum". The A381 merges with the B14.
- Stay in the right-hand lane on Leonberger Strasse (B14) and go straight on.
- Leonberger Strasse passes into the Heslacher Tunnel and then merges with Hauptstätter Strasse.
- At Österreichischer Platz turn left into Paulinenstrasse.
- At Rothebühlplatz, turn right into Theodor-Heuss-Strasse.
- Theodor-Heuss-Strasse merges with Friedrichstrasse.
- Stay in the right-hand lane and when you reach Bolzstrasse, drive into the Königsbau Passagen underground car park.
From the west
- Take the A8 from Karlsruhe and at the Leonberger Dreieck, exit the motorway in the direction of Leonberg.
- Continue on the L1187 until you reach the Schattenring roundabout and take the 2nd exit into Leonberger Strasse (B14).
- From there, follow the directions as if you were travelling from th south.
From the east
- Take the A8 from Ulm/Munich towards Stuttgart Airport, and exit at Stuttgart-Degerloch into the B27 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum".
- Stay in the left-hand lane on the B27 and then turn into Peregrinastrasse.
- Turn left at the T-junction into Heinenstrasse and follow the roas to the Heslacher Tunnel intersection.
- Turn right into the Heslacher Tunnel and follow the road.
- From there, follow the directions as if you were travelling from the south.
by public transportation:
From the airport
- Take the S-Bahn S2 in the direction of Schorndorf
- Alternatively, take the S-Bahn S3 in the direction of Backnang and get off at Stuttgart Main Station.
From Stuttgart Main Station
- Walk down Königstrasse to Schlossplatz/Bolzstrasse (10 minute walk).
- Alternatively, take the U5, U6 or U7 and get off at the next station (Schlossplatz).
