Helbling analyzed the causes of a loss of production suffered by an industrial client due to a failure in its IT systems in order to identify any possible claims for damages against the supplier. This involved evaluating the organizational and technical framework conditions of the client’s and system supplier’s IT operations. As a result, it was possible to provide the client with a detailed description of the cause of the failure and the necessary recommendations for action to avoid IT failures in future.
