Development and Calculation of Prosthetic Knee Joints
We carried out the following tasks as part of the development work for a revision knee implant:
- Development of the femur and tibia components on the basis of the primary implant
- Calculation of the strains and stresses that will be placed on the implant
- Evaluation of the results in terms of fatigue strength
- Developing optimization methods
- Working out the optimized geometry
