DNA Purifier
A company within the life science industry was planning a device for the fully automatic purification of biomolecules. Helbling Technik developed the complete system – mechanics, electronics and software – from the idea to the market launch.
Aim:
To develop a device for the fully automatic extraction of nucleic acids and proteins in the low throughput range.
Our task:
To develop a tabletop device, on the basis of the existing purification kits, for the fully automatic processing of these kits, without altering the manual kits.
Procedure:
The development covered all phases from the idea to the market launch. Thanks to the Helbling Technik interdisciplinary development team, we were able to develop mechanics, electronics and software in parallel and under one roof.
Results:
- The customer was able to place the device on the market very successfully.
- The device has been honored internationally with prestigious prizes.
