Wireless, Manually Controlled Measuring Probe for 3D Laser Tracker Systems

Laser trackers are portable measuring systems which use laser beams to make precise measurements within a spherical volume of up to 80m. The “walk-around” solution allows the scanning and inspection of concealed points without restriction. With just one set-up it is possible to pick up and measure several objects at the same time to the highest degree of accuracy. This sets completely new standards on the market. 

Our tasks:  

  • Development of the manually controlled T-Probe including CFRP shell, embedded electronics, real-time software, and lithium ion battery pack in accordance with the customer’s solution concept
  • Prototype production 
  • Preparation of serial documents
  • Transfer to serial production
