Endurance Capital AG, AL-KO KOBER SE and a Private Investor take over Hinge Technology Specialist WITTE Stromberg

As an M&A consultant, we advised and supported WITTE Automotive, an automotive supplier for vehicle access systems, during the execution of the entire sales process.

The transaction included both the German production sites in Stromberg in the Rheinland-Palatinate and the hinge production location in Bulgaria (Ruse) as well as production facilities in China (Taicang near Shanghai).

Endurance Capital AG will continue to expand WITTE Stromberg GmbH and, starting from its existing good market position, further develop the company into a even more powerful tier 1 full-service supplier for hinges that does business on a global scale.

By selling the hinge division, which was managed as a separate line of business within the WITTE Group, the latter can intensively focus on realising its long-term strategy. Among other things, it plans for dynamic further development of the core business and the expansion of new business fields, such as WITTE Digital.
